Been catching up with 's SDL league and tought it would be cool to have my own OC for this thing. Then I rembered I had a redesign of Rod that fits the era (sort of) and decided to give it a shot. At the moment all I have is this but I'll be updating his info as I go so keep an eye out for changes.


Rod Info:
So far No one knows who this man is as many have yet to see his face. His fighting style is hand to hand mix of Chinese Martial Arts (most notably Shaolin) and within his outfit is a variety of hidden weapons that he switches constantly.

His most common weapons are:
∙ a 3 section staff
∙ Custom Sharp edge Manriki Chains and/or iron magnetic Manriki chains
∙ 2 short katana sword
∙ 1 Hanwei Dao Sword
∙ Throwing Daggers

Rod's (Roddo) name was given to him because many villagers claim he appears near areas where lighting has struck a day before. It's also a play on word for his red mask.

No one knows why but it is believed he is lookig for someone specific but no one has heard him speak ever. On rare occasions that he speaks, they are usually just simple words like "yes", "no" and "food" and most have come to the conclusion that he is possibly of foreign nature.

While traveling trough Japan he takes jobs ranging from delivering a letter to infiltration and assassination and only does so if he feels they are worth the time or if he really needs some extra dough.

Random Facts

#1 ∙ Rod travels without his mask and only wears it when he reaches a village.
#2 ∙ He gives a proper burial to anyone he kills and/ or any dead bodies he encounters as a form of respect and honor.
#3 ∙ He loves to eat outside
#4 ∙ During fights he becomes faster little by little as he removes more heavy weapons from his arsenal.
